Privacy Policy

Prolio ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and its Implementation Framework.

1. Data We Collect

We collect: (a) information you provide directly — name, email, phone number, and property investment data; (b) usage data — pages visited, features used, and device information; (c) payment data processed through Paystack — we do not store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and operate the Prolio platform; send transactional emails (payment reminders, receipts, security alerts); improve platform features; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Storage and Security

Documents are stored on Cloudinary's CDN with signed, time-limited access URLs. All passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Sensitive API keys are AES-256 encrypted at rest. We enforce HTTPS across all connections.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Cloudinary (document storage), Paystack (payment processing), Brevo/AhaSend (transactional email), and as required by Nigerian law.

5. Your Rights Under NDPR

You have the right to: access a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to processing; and data portability. To exercise these rights, visit our data request page or email privacy@useprolio.com.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication and do not use third-party tracking cookies unless you have consented via our analytics settings.

7. Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are anonymised within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
